<image:caption>Behavioural Science Any successful venture relies on the behaviour of people, so it would seem a no-brainer to have some knowledge of behavioural science to underpin all our efforts. Sadly, the hugely powerful and simple tenets of behavioural science have been locked away in academia for over 100 years. We continue to use old fashioned management styles and ineffective training methods to build leaders and teams capable of meeting the complex needs of modern business. It’s my mission to bring behavioural science in its simple elegance out into common knowledge, and use it to produce people-positive environments for people to thrive in.</image:caption>

She was the kid that created ‘beach clean-up posters’ and wrangled friends to come and pick up rubbish when they’d much rather be playing (like normal kids). On the plus side this sense of purpose stuck and enabled Claire to pick a career pathway in sustainability that is both purpose-driven and values aligned. Claire holds a Law degree, is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, and obtained a first class Masters of Science from the London School of Economics. She has been working in climate action and sustainability for 14 years, starting her career on the legislative/frameworks side, at both a national and global level. Whilst there are many competing priorities in the organisational context, the process of establishing the clear enablers for these, identifying and assisting leadership to see the value to the desired outcomes and to coach and mentor leaders to unlock their personal “why” for their commitment to these aligned views. <image:caption>Emerging Leadership Having experienced a range of teams and cultures over the last 15 years, my approach to leadership is based around how you can create a culture where the team, group or organisation’s needs are the greatest priority. Experiencing the transition of environments where there is often an individual approach, to an environment of putting the team, group or organisation first, puts me in a unique position to support others in that journey. Performing under pressure ultimately comes back to trust in an approach where whatever outcomes you desire occur off the back of identified simple actions and behaviours. This is something that is often talked about but rarely lived. I want to use my background, experiences and learnings to help others create something special. Through effective leadership, I truly believe we can bring success to any environment.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Mediation Suran is an expert in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion; she uses neuroscience, anecdotal evidence from her many years of teaching young people, and a good dose of humour to help people understand and overcome a myriad of workplace challenges. To deliver on operational objectives, companies need to get the best out of their people – to do this, leaders, and in fact, all staff, need to be emotionally intelligent, culturally curious and constantly upgrading their communication skills. Having been a teacher and then a charity CEO in London, Suran moved back to Ōtautahi to work with a range of industries including media, electricity distribution, transport, education and health to engage, educate and inspire change needed to achieve a truly inclusive culture. She works with executive and people leader groups on both enhancing leadership skills and driving EDI, along with wider staff groups to facilitate eye-opening discussion on tough topics such as below the line banter, tricky diversity issues, innate bias and tribalism, how to have courageous conversations and what being an ally actually means. Strategic advice, facilitated strategy sessions, leadership coaching, keynotes, cultural reviews and EDI workshops all fall under Suran’s banner; she thrives on getting to know clients in partnership and working collaboratively to solve their people problems. Suran is also a trained mediator, having mediated numerous workplace interpersonal conflicts and supported teams with ongoing conflict issues.</image:caption>

<image:caption>High Performance For more than two decades, Darren Shand was the driving force behind the culture and high-performance environment that shaped the New Zealand All Blacks into the world’s most successful international sports team. His focus is on building the "team around the team" and creating an environment that wholeheartedly supports peak performance was instilled into the very fabric of All Black’s leadership. It is no accident that their winning percentage of 76.77% across more than 600 test matches is unrivalled in world sport. Today, Darren shares his concept of ‘Winning Teams’ with business and sporting leaders around the globe empowering them with the tools and guidance they need to navigate the intricacies of team dynamics, become more effective leaders, and foster empowering and collaborative environments that cultivate peak performance. Anchored in the principle of "we over me," Darren’s practical and proven approach shows us how to transcend the mere assembly of talent and surpass the capabilities of individuals by astutely recognising and harnessing the collective strength inherent in any group to create our own ‘Winning Teams’.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Breakthrough Delivery After a string of high-profile sports and health leadership roles I was really starting to question where I wanted to be and the impact that I wanted to have on the world. I’ve always had a real drive to do something purposeful and to have an impact on the world around me and the people in it. As my career progressed, I found that it was increasingly lonely and isolating at the top, with my ability to influence systemic change as one person in one place dwindling while my frustration increased. Great strategy, leadership and culture is infectious, and I am passionate about helping individuals and organisations enhance these skills to infiltrate their places of work and the lives of people – achieving this means a better future for the next generation. After nearly a decade of working for myself, I’m excited to be part of an amazing team who are committed to being in my corner and in yours.</image:caption>

He lived the last nine years of his life with Heart Failure, growing medical bills, in and out of the hospital, and a family who watched him die while trying to act like everything was okay. The truth is - it wasn’t okay. It also wasn’t okay that as a family, we had to feel like it was normal for it to be okay. After his passing, I made myself a promise that I would do something meaningful with my life and do something meaningful for others. I went on to study Health and Safety, Health and well-being, Psychology, NLP, and Coaching. I started my own coaching business back in 2020, where I’ve helped hundreds of people come out of the darkness of their own emotional turmoil and back into the light of their own visions. I’m not a Counsellor. I’m not a Therapist. I’m just a human, like you, here to show you (and your teams) how life gets to be okay after death and how you get to carry on the legacy of your loved ones after they’ve gone.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Strategic Programme Management Kia ora koutou, ko Zoe Murphy tōku ingoa. Ko wai au? (Who am I?) I am an experienced senior leader skilled at leading and delivering large programmes of work within complex, multi-stakeholder environments. To date, my time has been spent in Government, health service delivery, tertiary education, research, innovation, and start-up industries… and now within the power industry. To deliver, I tap into 18 years of experience in senior business and operations management, team leadership, strategy implementation, strategic programme management, strategic relations and stakeholder management. But if I’m honest, these business skills only create half my success. The other half I strongly attribute to what really matters to me – the people and the purpose. I believe that business happens inside a social context, not vice versa. Therefore, creating a healthy and cohesive social ecosystem is central to how I work – to raise performance and deliver sustainable change. I am also committed to driving organisational initiatives focused on social justice, Te Tiriti and equity for Māori, Pacific and other communities. Previous team members say my main super-powers are: my authentic, mana-enhancing leadership, my genuine care for people, my ability to mobilise and empower others and my relentless positive energy for meaningful change. I am super proud of this reputation and bring these ways of working to all mahi I am involved with.</image:caption>
